Welcome to the information and outreach website of The Prophecy Society, your place on the internet dedicated to examining the Bible’s predictive prophecies as preserved in the Tanakh (Old Testament) and B’rit Hadashah (New Testament) and explaining their fulfillments as documented in the pages of history, always with this focus in mind … to the Jews first, and also to the Gentiles. (Rom. 1:16)

There are two types of predictive prophecies in the Bible, namely, those prophecies that have already been fulfilled by the events of history and thus can be understood, which is the kind we deal with here on this website. Then there are prophecies that have yet to see fulfillment and thus cannot be fully understood until they are fulfilled, so we don’t even try to interpret those. In time, those will be fulfilled, too.

The good news is that the sealed prophecies in the Book of Daniel have been unsealed for this generation by God working his will through the people of Israel. The return of Jewish sovereignty over the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, exactly when the prophecy in Daniel 8:13-14 had foretold that event would happen, was the key that unsealed all of the prophecies in Daniel for our understanding today (read about how it happened on June 7, 1967 ).
