Welcome

Dan Bruce

Welcome to Good News for Jews, a website dedicated to explaining the prophecies and their associated historical events as recorded in the Bible, in both the Tanakh (Old Testament) and in the B’rit Hadashah (New Testament).

There is only one true time line of history, of course, but there are two types of predictive prophecies in the Bible, namely, those prophecies that have already been fulfilled by the events of history and thus can be understood, which is the kind we deal with here, and those prophecies that have yet to see fulfillment in time and thus cannot be fully understood until they are fulfilled, so we don’t try to interpret those. In other words, if you are looking for speculations and guesses about things that will happen in the future, you won’t find that here.

The good news is that previously sealed prophecies in the Book of Daniel were unsealed for this generation by God working providentially through the Jewish people in 1967 to return possession of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to the Jews, exactly as the prophecy in Daniel 8:13-14, had said that event would happen. By fulfilling that prophecy, recorded in Daniel more than 2,500 years before it happened and seen by millions on television as it was being fulfilled, God signaled to all Bible believers that knowledge had indeed been increased as promised in Daniel 12:4 and that all of the prophecies in Daniel were thereafter unsealed for understanding.

With God acting providentially through the recalled Jewish people in the land of Israel in order to make the meaning of Daniel 8 clear to us, thus unsealing the Daniel prophecies for our understanding today, all previous interpretations of the prophecies in Daniel that are not based on that modern unsealing event foretold by God have become outdated and incorrect.

It is on that basis that I invite you to read the books and articles and other information presented on this website that are based on what God has said he would do and has done through the sure word of Bible prophecy to assure us of his providential authority over the affairs of Mankind and the lives of his chosen people … yesterday, today, and forever.

And, just for the record, read No, I am not a prophet!
