What we believe about modern Israel

We believe that the modern nation of Israel is the manifestation of the God of Israel recalling his people to Eretz Israel as was promised to Abraham, re-promised to the Children of Israel by the prophets of Israel, and prophesied in theTanakh to happen again in the latter days.

For I will take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands and bring you into your own land.”  (Ezek. 36:24) “Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean … Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. “ (Ezek. 36:25–26)

We recognize that the modern Jewish state is officially secular. But, through its Ministry of Religious Services, denies that Jesus is the Messiah and operates in a state of opposition to the Gospel message for Jews. Thus, we cannot relate spiritually to the Jewish nation except to consider it a mission field.

However, on a purely secular basis, and especially in view of recent history, we acknowledge the desirability and support without apology having a Jewish state for the Jewish people under the control of a Jewish majority.

This video will give you a brief history of the Land of Israel from ancient times down to the founding of the modern secular State of Israel in 1948:
